Fliptu is focused on helping fans better connect with the people, interests & brands they love. Fans miss 90%+ of the media & offers brands publish across the various social media services. With millions of brands pushing content, there's just too much 'noise' for fans to filter through. Fliptu's core tool enables people & brands to sync & import all their visual social media into an 'ultimate fan page,' in turn giving fans a 24/7, one-stop shop to discover, collect and share media & offers from their favorite people, interests and brands.

First, we'd like to thank you for taking your valuable time to try out Fliptu in its pre-launch (and still rough) state. Two of us have been building this full-time since May, on a shoestring. We built Fliptu to scratch our own itch as brand owners trying to make sense of social media & social commerce. We previously ran a three-brand apparel group with heavy ties to music, entertainment & action sports. Social media was part of our overall marketing strategy, and although we spent a significant amount of time & effort publishing & promoting our brand media & offers, we weren't seeing much of an uptick in engagement around our media or lift in sales on our offers. The problem we found, both top down & bottom up, is that our customers and fans were missing nearly everything we were putting out. Too much "noise" and an overall disjointed experience across the various social media services prevents fans from getting the full brand experience.
In our minds, providing fans a single destination, mashing up our brand media & offers on an 'ultimate fan page,' was a logical beginning to a solution for our business. So although we built Fliptu with brands in mind, we have also given fans a way to quickly access their favorites in music, entertainment, sports & fashion by tapping into the interest graph. For fans, we want to provide easy discovery, sharing & curation of media from their favorites. There's a whole social commerce piece in development, complete with VIP/exclusive offers from major names in music, entertainment, sports & fashion. Stay tuned for that in Q113.
We know we have a long way to go. We know there are some bugs & aesthetic issues you'll run into, and by all means, please let us know about those. But also tell us what you LOVE or HATE about what we've built. If you're a brand owner, provide us that perspective, please. If you're not a brand owner, give us your perspective as a fan.
